J.A. Magnus Bourbon Tasting!
Wednesday, we went to the J.A. Magnus Reserve Exclusive Tasting at The Ritz-Carlton Washington DC's Quadrant Lounge & Bar. Here, Victoria Michael Public Relations' Victoria Michael, epgPR's Erika Gutierrez and National Museum of Women in the Arts board of trustees president Cindy Jones.
Guests enjoyed a pouring of the J.A. Magnus Reserve bourbon as well as other luxury bourbons: Joseph Magnus, Murray Hill Club Blended and Cigar Blend. The event also featured a craft cocktail highlighting the Murray Hill Blended bourbon. Only 192 bottles of J.A. Magnus Reserve were made. Once they are gone, this product will never exist again. Here, Nelson Mullins' Vinoda Basnayake is flanked by ALQIMI Group's Joe Carlin, Paras Sharma, Seema Sharma and Raseev Sharma.
The Joseph Magnus Bourbon combines straight bourbon whiskey aged in white oak and finished in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and cognac casks. It's won numerous awards, including the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Medal, 2016 American Distilling Institute Craft Blended Spirits Competition Gold Medal and 2016 American Distilling Institute Craft Blended Spirits Competition Best In Class Whiskey. Here, Jos. A. Magnus & Co's Thy Parra, Brett Thompson and Nicole Hassoun.
Joseph Alexander Magnus has been distilling, blending and rectifying whiskeys, gins and other spirits since 1892. Inspired by Joseph’s story, his great-grandson picked up the torch and reintroduced Jos. A. Magnus & Co and his brand of remarkable spirits to the world. Here, Jos. A. Magnus & Co's Ryan Meyers, Ali Anderson and Matt Witzig.
