New Book!
PEN/Faulkner Founding Friends held a luncheon at the residence of Irish Ambassador Anne Anderson, who had her home beautifully decorated with pink and white peonies. She's bookended by Washington Post reporters Mary Jordan and Kevin Sullivan, authors of the riveting new book about the true story of the girls who were kidnapped and held captive, Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland. The authors, who are married, previously won a Pulitzer. In discussing the book, Mary said she grew up in Cleveland, not far from where the girls were held, and also talked about her Irish roots with the Ambassador.
