Phillips Gala!
Friday evening, we headed to the Phillips Collection in Dupont Circle for the museum's annual gala.
We snapped Phillips Collection chairman Dani Levinas with honorary gala chair and former NPR radio host Diane Rehm and her fiancé, John Hagedorn.
The theme of this year's gala was "Maifest: A Celebration of German Art and Culture," with the German Ambassador, Peter Wittig, and his wife, Huberta von Voss-Wittig, serving as the evening's diplomatic chairs. Here, Montgomery Village Foundation's David Humpton joins his wife, Siemens Government Technologies CEO Barbara Humpton, with Jeff Marks and his wife, Siemens USA CEO Judy Marks.
Prior to the dinner and program, we joined VIPs at the cocktail reception on the first floor of the museum. Here, the evening's gala hosts, AT&T Government Solutions president Kay Kapoor and her husband, Sunny Kapoor.

During the cocktail reception, guests joined in the highly anticipated raffle for a private dinner for 10 in front of Renoir’s famous “Luncheon of the Boating Party.” Here, IFC - World Bank Group principal and Harvard Business School of Washington's Antonio Alves and Molly Shearer.
The gala raised critical resources for the museum’s award-winning educational programs providing K-12 education reform, art, wellness and lifelong learning in DC, across the country and around the world.
