Chance for Life!
Last night we went to an Oscars party, but we'll start with the night before, when we went to Chance for Life.
The 11th Annual Poker Tournament, Wine & Chef’s Tasting, and Dance Party was at the Sphinx Club, with all proceeds supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand to fight childhood cancer and carry on Alex’s legacy of hope. We snapped Judge Group's Carl Ressa, NBC4 anchor Angie Goff, and Britton Group's Megan Britton.
Congrats to poker tournament winner NFQllc.com CEO Richard Wiedis, who is flanked by RedPeg Marketing CEO Brad Nierenberg, his goddaughter Kennedy Snyder, and Kennedy's dad Jeff Snyder.
Chance for Life was created by Brad Nierenberg as a tribute to Kennedy Snyder, who was diagnosed with cancer at age two; her progress has inspired him to give to others, such as Alex’s Lemonade Stand. Here, marketing professionals Laura Lampert and Jessi Arida and Flying V Theatre's Zachary Fernebok.
The all-day event had a 400-person poker tournament, a wine and chef’s tasting hosted by Mike Isabella Concepts, and music by A-Town A-List band. Here, GAGE International's Michael Higgins, Independence Blue Cross' Colleen Segata, and PA Governor's Office of General Counsel's Carlton Smith.
Here's NFQllc.com CEO Richard Wiedis winning the poker tournament. This year’s event shattered last year’s record for donations, totaling more than $150k. In its first 10 years, Chance for Life raised more than $1M for pediatric cancer research.
