We went to Summer Hummer IV at the Signature Theatre in Shirlington for a burlesque variety show.
Summer Hummer has become a racy summer tradition bringing together DC's top talent for an invigorating performance. We snapped Studio Theatre development head Rodney Trap, Meredith Burkus and Rick Kasten, and theatreWashington’s Vince Keilman.
The benefiting charity, Taking Care of Our Own, supports fellow actors in a time of need. Here, actors Chelsea Thaler, Cody Boehm, Emily Madden and Chani Wereley.
After the performance, the audience and talent gathered in Signature Theatre's lounge for mingling and spirits. Here, Standard & Poor's Chris Corey, Inova Fairfax's Chris Talluto, Phacil's James Ryer, and Studio Theater's Allie Roy and Neil Rushnock.
The performances included risque mad libs, dancing cowboys and musical parodies.
