The Greatest Show on Earth!
Last night we went to the Verizon Center for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus Extreme VIP Opening Night Party. The Acela Club was filled with excitement for every age from face painting and jugglers to an open bar and live entertainment. We snapped Big Tire America’s Marcus Wiseman, Bowie State’s Vernell Lawson, Sport FIT’s Darrick Tolliver, and his sister Fox 5’s Terri Tolliver.
Guests snacked on hot dogs, mini burgers and all the circus food you could imagine: cotton candy, candy apples, popcorn, and lollipops. 94.7 Fresh FM’s Tommy McFly opened the show; he's with co-host Kelly Collis.
There were several mommy bloggers with their beautiful families. The kids loved the stuffed circus elephants, tiger cups, and circus toys they could fill their bags with to take home. The treasured Asian elephants opened the show. They will move next month to their permanent home, the Ringling Bros. Center for Elephant Conservation in Florida.
