So many great events this weekend! We'll start with Saturday night, as we headed to Mellon Auditorium for the annual Washington Performing Arts Gala.
Prior to dinner, guests enjoyed a lavish VIP cocktail reception with cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, and an opportunity to browse the great silent auction items. We snapped NSO Chair Jeanne Ruesch with WPA patron Keiko Kaplan.

The 2016-2017 season celebrates the WPA's 50th anniversary. Here, WPA Chairman Reggie Van Lee is surrounded by supporter Ace Werner, architect Allen Neyman, and Wiley Rein managing partner and Board member Peter Shields.
The gala included performances by special guest Midori, bass-baritone Soloman Howard, and WPA's Children of the Gospel Choir. Here, Board member Jacqui Michel, her husband, David Weisman, and WPA patron Annette Kerlin.
