Michael G. Scheurich’s passion for construction originated with a love of architecture and how buildings are designed. After growing up in the small town of Beaumont, Texas, he entered the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University with a vision to become an architect, quickly realizing he wanted to build. This led him to obtain his bachelor’s degree in construction science from Texas A&M University. His construction career began in Dallas and continued in Houston, where he served for three of the nation’s top 20 general contractors. This was the incubation period for Scheurich’s vision to launch his own construction company. Scheurich understood that, to achieve this entrepreneurial dream, he needed more than a degree in the science of how to build. He also needed to understand the science of how to operate a company, so he obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. With an MBA in tow, he established Arch-Con Corporation in 2000 as a resource for the local commercial real estate community in the areas of office and industrial design-build construction. Today, the business also operates in the markets of retail, healthcare, corporate interiors, community, hospitality and multifamily construction. The company has offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin and Denver with more than 200 employees and an annual revenue of more than $500 million. Additionally, Scheurich utilizes his design and construction relationships to team with strategic partners to develop high-quality assets. Arch-Con’s headquarters was developed by Scheurich and constructed by Arch-Con. He is experienced in leveraging the latest, cost-efficient technologies and strives to stay on the cutting edge of the industry. Scheurich serves on the Greater Houston Partnership Board of Directors, the National NAIOP Forum, the University of St. Thomas Buildings and Grounds Committee, and the Annunciation Orthodox School Building and Grounds Committee. He recently served on the Wallis State Bank Board of Directors, served nine years on the Houston NAIOP Board of Directors, and three years on the National NAIOP Board of Directors. He donates his time and resources to vital organizations including Hermann Park Conservancy, SEARCH Homeless Services, Bo's Place, St. Anne Catholic Community, Christian Community Services Center, among others.

As founder and principal of The Signorelli Company, Danny Signorelli has more than 20 years of executive management experience in all facets of real estate development including: acquisitions, finance, residential and commercial development, leasing, marketing and property management. Danny founded the company bearing his name in 1994. Over Danny’s 20+ year career, he has played an active role in commercial and residential development in Texas and Oklahoma. From large scale master planned communities to niche infill / redevelopment and mixed-use projects, his broad experience and entrepreneurial skills have helped fuel the company’s unprecedented growth. Under his leadership, The Signorelli Company is unique to the real estate industry, with company divisions focusing on land, retail, medical, commercial development and residential development. Since its inception, the company has been involved in over 6,000 acres of residential, commercial and multi-family projects. Leading an experienced executive team and a company 50 people strong, Danny exemplifies the company’s focus of “Building better places and spaces to live, work and play.” After 20 years of dramatic growth, he has positioned the company with enviable projects and land positions to take the company to the next level.

Jim Carman is President of the Houston region at The Howard Hughes Corporation. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of MPC Commercial Development. He joined the company in August 2012 to oversee vertical development on projects located within The Woodlands and Bridgeland, both master planned communities in the Houston area. Mr. Carman was responsible for leading multiple teams in the development of the first phase of Hughes Landing, Houston's premier mixed-use urban center on Lake Woodlands, taking the 66-acre project from conception to completion within three years. Prior to The Howard Hughes Corporation, Mr. Carman worked on the mixed-use project Tivoli Village at Queensridge as well as all development projects located within the 70-acre Hughes Center, a mixed-use master planned property in Las Vegas. Previously, Mr. Carman served as Project Manager for the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, a $500 million resort complex consisting of seven restaurants, 365 keys, 85 luxury condominiums, and a golf course designed by Greg Norman. Before moving overseas to manage the Ritz-Carlton project, he worked with The Haskell Company, a design-build contractor based in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Carman was part of the joint-venture team that constructed the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, a $370 million performance complex in the heart of downtown Miami, hosting the Florida Grand Opera and Miami City Ballet, as well as other special events. Mr. Carman received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering as well as Master of Engineering in Construction from Texas A&M University.

Anissa Sabawala is a 35+ year construction industry veteran who recently launched her own project delivery and program management firm, ATS Consulting (ATSC). A registered architect (AIA) and LEED AP BD+C professional, she practiced architecture for 15 years prior to jumping onto the “Dark Side”, as a construction Project Executive, overseeing national account roll-outs, of both ground up and interior fit-outs, for Fortune 500 companies in 20+ states across the US. Prior to founding ATSC, Anissa was Principal at STG Austin, and VP of Business Development Strategies for O’Donnell/Snider Construction in Houston. In New York she was Director of Business Development at Gilbane Building Company Manhattan, and a Principal of Strategic Accounts at HOK-NYC. On a personal note, she recently renovated her historic 1906 house in Galveston and dreams that someday, she may have the time to become a semi-decent golfer

Hussain's passion for sales and commercial real estate can be traced back to his dad, a first generation immigrant from Afghanistan, who shared his interests of new developments in Dallas, TX with Hussain and a young age. After leaving Dallas, he moved to Fayetteville, AR to attend the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance with a concentration in real estate. During his time at Arkansas, Hussain established himself as a co-founder of a wine accessory company and a 4.96 star Uber driver (we'd give him a 5). Outside of the office, Hussain cheers for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, and the Texas Rangers (incase you forgot where he was from). Most importantly, Hussain prides himself on being an investigator and organizer of engaging conversations, connecting with people from all backgrounds.
