The Cannon is a community management firm that builds and operates curated entrepreneurial and creative communities across a growing number of locations. Currently, there are over 250 companies in The Cannon community working at The Cannon – Main Campus, a brand new 120K square foot converted warehouse located at the center of the 32-acre Founders District on the west side of Houston, just north of Interstate 10 and Beltway 8, and at The Cannon – Post Oak, the first of many satellite locations that will allow for even more flexibility and resources for Houston’s entrepreneurs. This December, The Cannon will expand to Downtown Houston and open up its 3rd location – The Cannon Tower at Amegy on Main. The Cannon’s flagship Main Campus location, one of the largest coworking and office spaces in the world, plans to headquarter a community of over 800 of Houston’s most accomplished entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses, surrounded by service providers and resources geared to help their businesses grow.

Mr. Schultz is a Real Estate developer and investor whose company, RHS Interests, LLC. has created, owns and operates specialty shopping centers, hotels and mixed-use properties throughout the Houston & Austin, Texas areas, and in various cities in the United States and Europe.  The company focuses on creating places that fit well into their neighborhood, with thoughtful tenant selection, occasional investment and development of retail concepts, attention to ergonomics and an architectural design collaboration approach that gives lasting value to the customer, the real estate and its surroundings. Some of the better-known developments in Houston include Mid Main Lofts mixed use development, Oasis, Texas, the Kroger Plaza at San Felipe, the Kroger Plaza in the Park, River Oaks Village, and renovations and redevelopments of 3939 Montrose, 3622 Main and 3700 Main Street. Hotel properties include the Marriot at the Capital in Austin, Texas, the InterContinental and Staybridge Suites Hotel in the Uptown/Galleria area of Houston. Mr. Schultz’s community work currently includes his founding and current board of directorship with Harris County Improvement District No. 3, and he is a board member for The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art serving as President from 2010 to 2014 and again in 2021. He also served as a founding board member and former Chairman of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 19, which is a public entity charged with the improvement and beautification of the Upper Kirby area and surrounding district. He is one of the principals in the neighboring Continental Club, sister club to the legendary Austin music venue. ​Mr. Schultz has proudly participated in teaching a reality development studio with William T. Cannady at the Rice Graduate School of Architecture & Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University for nearly 20 years.

Mr. Pejman (PJ) Jamea is a Real Estate developer, investor and a co-founder of Oxberry Group. He is a licensed architect and a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas. Oxberry Group’s projects have been awarded the AIA’s award of excellence, Good Brick Award and been nominated for exemplary work in architecture, historic preservation and development. PJ has designed and developed a variety of different projects. His past projects include midrise and highrise multifamily and condominium, ground up retail, retail conversion and numerous hospitality developments.

Angel Gonzales is an Associate Principal and Studio Manager at Method Architecture. As a leader of one of the firm’s ground-up building teams, Angel is responsible for the firm’s industrial, mixed-use, and retail portfolios. Angel and his team have completed millions of square feet of industrial development across Texas. Local industrial projects include Eisenhauer Point Distribution Center and Tri-County Crossing with Eastgroup Properties as well as a new, 30-acre development along Eisenhauer Road with NIT Industrial.

A graduate of The University of Texas- Austin, Emily Arbuckle joined GSD Construction fall of 2017. Amidst her mission to cultivate new CRE relationships and diversify the firm’s project portfolio, she also uncovered a passion for the construction process. Fast forward three years, the GSD team has been awarded over 94,000 SQ FT of ground up construction, earned a spot on the 2020 Houston Business Journal’s “Fast 100” and the TAMU “Aggie 100”, and added three seasoned, construction professionals to the office. With a dedication to quality construction and the client experience, GSD looks forward to many more exceptional Houston projects.

Kim was born in Flushing, New York and come from many generations of New Yorkers. It was a culture shock when she first moved to Houston, Texas in the late 70's but can now say Y'all with the best of them. Kim graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Marketing and has worked in media her entire life. Kim played and coached soccer for many years and even spent a summer in England playing in tournaments. The oldest of three girls, she now has two sons (the first born Texans in her family), a husband and three male rescue dogs.
