Lacee Jacobs began her career at Midway and she now returns as Vice President of Strategic Leasing and Advisory. Lacee is responsible for the development and implementation of commercial leasing and merchandising strategies to create value and ensure the success of Midway’s commercial developments. Drawing on nearly a decade of industry experience, she specializes in merchandising and advising national, regional, first-to-market, and experiential brands. Previously, Lacee worked with CBRE, strengthening their urban leasing team in Houston with her local and global perspective of the real estate market, translating to strategic and lasting real estate decisions for her clients. Prior to CBRE Lacee worked with EDGE Realty and Waterman Steele. Her extensive owner/developer client list includes Clarion Partners, Greystar, HINES, Mill Creek, Stonelake Capital, Riverway Properties, Newform, SFT Investments, Skanska, Provident Realty and SUBEA USA. Lacee has helped imple- ment growth strategies for best-in-class brands such as Fox Restaurant Group (North Italia, Flower Child, Culinary Dropout, The Henry and Doughbird ), CAMP, Ballard Designs, Run On by Jack Rabbit, Lazy Dog Restaurants, The Max Challenge, BRG Hospitality (Eunice), and Tenfold Coffee. In this executive role, Glover will oversee strategy and design for all real estate development, including a new Master Plan, for the transformation of Memorial City. A seasoned architectural visionary and innovative thinker, Glover has created methodologies for system transformation and world class design that has led him to collaborate with a variety of prestigious development organizations, heads of state, entrepreneurs, and renowned artists over his 35-year career. Glover’s innovative approach incorporates an imaginative weave of story- telling and place-making to invigorate design, producing works that embrace contemporary ideology, contextual culture and evolving modern lifestyles. “David’s impressive track record of developing experience-driven mixed-use and elevated urban plans throughout the world will provide tremendous insight and perspective to our growing portfolio of large, complex projects,” said Jason Johnson, President of MetroNational. “His unique approach to multi-disciplinary design and planning will be instrumental in realizing the vision MetroNational has for the new Memorial City.” Glover most recently served as a principal and global director of mixed-use at Gensler, an international design firm, where he led the design and planning of mixed-use and retail centers around the world. During his 13-year tenure at the firm’s Los Angeles office, Glover also sat on Gensler’s board management committee, overseeing the firm’s global practice platform and client relationships. Prior to Gensler, he served as Vice President of Design at Westfield and Executive Creative Director at Universal Studios. Among the numerous international design accolades Glover has earned for his projects, he was named “Retail Groundbreaker” by the Los Angeles Business Journal and recognized as an “Emerging Voice” by Architectural League of New York. He is an active member of both the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers and is frequently tapped to contribute to industry dialogues on the future and evolution of retail centers into new forms of urban hybrids.

Prior to taking on the director opportunity in Store Development, David was the regional director of operations supporting the San Antonio/South Texas market and Fort Worth/West Texas market. David is a 5.5 year partner with Starbucks and is most proud of his team’s ability to consistently deliver best in class results, drive responsible market share growth through new store growth, and keep the Starbucks experience at the forefront off all we do for partners and customers. Creating pathways to success and allowing leaders to grow in role is a key hallmark of David’s leadership. Prior to Starbucks, David served as VP Sales and Operations for US stores at Staples.

John S. Moody, Jr., is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has extensive experience in real estate development, leasing, acquisitions, sales and financing. He represents developers, owners, families, financial institutions, investors, retailers and private equity funds in acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, financing and construction of all types of real estate.

Kim was born in Flushing, New York and come from many generations of New Yorkers. It was a culture shock when she first moved to Houston, Texas in the late 70's but can now say Y'all with the best of them. Kim graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Marketing and has worked in media her entire life. Kim played and coached soccer for many years and even spent a summer in England playing in tournaments. The oldest of three girls, she now has two sons (the first born Texans in her family), a husband and three male rescue dogs.
