Nadir is a managing director and is responsible for all aspects of New York office real estate investments. Nadir’s experience includes various positions from asset management, acquisitions, and product development. Prior to joining Nuveen Real Estate in 2012, Nadir was involved in both asset management and acquisitions roles at Silverstein Properties and RLJ development Urban Lodging Trust (formally RLJ Development LLC). Nadir graduated with a B.A in Business Administration from St. John’s University, an M.B.A. from Villanova School of Business and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

David Neil oversees the company’s Commercial Leasing and Marketing Departments. David began his career with The Durst Organization in 2009 in Property Management focusing on tenant relations, life-safety initiatives, and management innovation, and subsequently also oversaw the company’s Legal and Amenities Departments. David is the former Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of New York Water Taxi / Circle Line Downtown, a former Durst Organization affiliated maritime company that carried 1.5 million passengers per year in the New York Harbor. Prior to joining The Durst Organization, David worked as U.S. Representative for the European-based real estate company Evohaus, Director of Special Projects at ShoreBank, and Co-Founder and CEO of the publishing company Little Green Dreams. He also worked at the Nathan Cummings Foundation and founded a nonprofit volunteer organization to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in local communities. David received a Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Vassar College. He is a board member of Breaking Ground, Palisades Park Conservancy, The Friends of Rockland Lake & Hook Mountain, and Museum of the Courageous.

Kathe Kramer Chase has three decades of New York City centric commercial real estate experience and has played major roles in world renowned projects such as Chelsea Market, the Historic Falchi and Factory Buildings and now Industry City. Kathe received her undergraduate degree, with a concentration in business, from Northwestern University. After graduating, Kathe worked with developer Irwin Cohen after leaving Time Equities to assist in the renovation and leasing of 2mm square feet in Long Island City, and later in the purchase, redevelopment, and lease-up of what is now known as Chelsea Market. As an integral part of the Chelsea Market team, Kathe helped shape the identity of the Meat Packing District as an international destination. In 2014 Kathe left retirement to join Industry City as the Director. Over the course of her career Kathe has been on the forefront of real estate trends, and has pioneered development and leasing concepts that distinguish her in the industry, while leasing millions of square feet of commercial real estate in New York City, valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

As Senior Vice President of Development at Extell Development Company, Ari Goldstein is responsible for all phases of development, from approvals and design through construction, sales and marketing. Mr. Goldstein has overseen $2 billion of mixed-use developments in the Lower East Side, East Village and Brooklyn totaling over two million square feet including 1,500 residential units. Brooklyn Point, Extell’s first development in Brooklyn, is a 68-story tower with 458 luxury for-sale apartments and over 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including the tallest rooftop infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere. Mr. Goldstein was previously Senior Project Manager at Jonathan Rose Companies where he oversaw the completion of Via Verde, the award-winning, mixed-income 222 unit LEED-Gold development in the Bronx, Dr. Muriel Petioni Plaza, the first LEED-Silver HUD 202 for low-income seniors in Harlem, and the RFP award of Gowanus Green and BAM North Site II in Brooklyn. Mr. Goldstein graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and received a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with additional coursework at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He has also served as a Harvard Rappaport Public Policy Fellow and a Coro Leadership New York Fellow. Mr. Goldstein lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.

Ben Shapiro joined Newmark in 2013 and currently serves as a vice chairman in the firm’s New York headquarters. Ben possesses a depth of experience in landlord and tenant representation throughout Manhattan, with a focus on the representation of institutional owners of real estate. Personal Affiliations An active member of his community, Ben sits on the leadership council at Blythedale Children’s Hospital and is the founder of The Billy Mac Fund, a scholarship fund for at-need college students in the tri-state area.
