Lisa, who has been active in the multifamily industry since 1990, oversees portfolio operations for the West Coast, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Northern Nevada, and California. Prior to joining Avenue5, she oversaw Greystar’s national client services platform and served as executive vice president at Riverstone Residential Group, vice president at BlackRock, director of asset management at Security Properties Incorporated, and vice president at Trammell Crow Residential Services. She holds expertise in business strategy, acquisition underwriting and analysis, new development pre-construction planning, financial performance underwriting, asset repositioning, capital budget preparation functions, new development marketing and planning, business development, associate training, property operations and performance, and all facets of asset strategy formulation. Lisa holds a broker’s license in the state of Washington.

Brett Phillips is an award-winning sustainability leader and advocate, whose private and public work on decarbonization is shaping how the built environment is addressing climate change. He is Vice President of Sustainable and Responsible Investments at Unico Properties, a subsidiary of Unico Investment Group, where he manages high-performance green building and renewable energy projects for Unico’s national real estate portfolio. He is also co-founder and Vice President of Unico Solar Investors, a Unico subsidiary that develops, operates, and supplies solar energy for commercial real estate and business portfolios across the United States. Since 2008, Brett has overseen sustainable development and operations projects for over 25 million square feet of LEED-certified real estate. Notable projects include the Bullitt Center (the world’s largest commercial “Living Building”), LEED Platinum Stone34 in Seattle, and the award-winning LEED Platinum development of Circa Building in Denver. In a personal venture, he is developing Inspire, Seattle’s first zero-carbon multifamily building which is drawing the blueprint for net-positive residential developments in the region. Brett is a co-founder and the current board chair of the 2030 Districts Network, a nonprofit organization devoted to creating a global network of low-carbon cities. He authored the update to Seattle’s Living Building Challenge Pilot and the creation of the 2030 Challenge Pilot which provide critical land-use incentives for new and existing buildings in exchange for delivering low-carbon buildings. He is also an Architecture 2030 Senior Fellow, where he is promoting the adoption of the 2030 Challenge to rapidly decarbonize the built environment as a central solution to stemming the climate crisis. Brett’s work has earned Unico and his projects numerous industry accolades including Washington’s Green Company of the Year in 2011 and Multifamily Executive’s Sustainable Development of the Year in 2017 for his work on The Commons at Ballard. In 2019, Commercial Property Executive named him one of their “Stars to Watch.”

Peter Scialla is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Delos. Peter is responsible for executing on the strategic vision and global operations of the company with a focus on advancing the mission to drive positive health outcomes for occupants of indoor spaces around the world. He leads the commercialization of platforms and solutions that improve indoor environmental quality and enhance human health and well-being. Prior to joining Delos, Peter had an expansive career on Wall Street spanning over 18 years, including as a Partner for Goldman Sachs where he led U.S. Equity Derivatives Trading. During his eight years at Goldman Sachs, Peter worked closely with leadership in distribution, investment banking, private wealth, and capital markets with an emphasis on both institutional trading and structured corporate repurchase. Peter also spent seven years at Morgan Stanley as Head of Single Stock Derivatives Trading. Peter regularly speaks at industry events and contributes informative content across multiple channels to share scientific research, trends and advancements in wellness real estate, and to help advance the healthy buildings movement. He is a graduate of New York University with degrees in Finance and International Business.

Dan O’Connell joined the Quantum Fiber(SM) Connected Communities’ organization in 2018, with more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and cable industries.  He spent most of those years in senior leadership roles with some of America’s largest service providers specializing in the residential housing and multi-dwelling market.   As VP of Consumer Sales, he leads a nationwide team of sales and engineering professionals focused on delivering customized advanced fiber technology solutions for apartments and communities by deploying fast, future ready and secure instant connectivity for all residents. Under Dan’s leadership, the connected communities organization has experienced tremendous growth and continues to aggressively expand its footprint throughout the U.S. Dan is a lifetime fan of his hometown Washington D.C. sports teams; has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Catholic University of America.    As a community advocate Dan serves on the board of directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and is the former president of the Fiber Broadband Association (formerly Fiber to the Home Council).
