Ray Taylor is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group, based in London. Since joining Blackstone in 2020, Mr. Taylor has been involved in Blackstone’s real estate asset management activities, with a focus on the group’s investments in student housing, film studios, residential and logistics. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Taylor was a Principal at KKR, where he spent 6 years focused on the acquisition, financing and asset management of various property types across Europe. Prior to KKR, Mr. Taylor worked in the Real Estate Finance and Special Opportunities team at J.P. Morgan in London. Mr. Taylor began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York in the mortgage trading department. Mr. Taylor received a BSc at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.

He has taken AFS from an idea to a nationally recognized leader in the energy and fuels marketplace. In 2016, Rahim created Three Ring Studios (TRS) and is now the Chairman of one of the largest Studio production campuses in Georgia’s growing film and TV production industry. With over 250,000 square feet of sound stages space and over 100,000 square feet of office space. TRS has positioned itself to be a premier facility for film and television productions of all types, offering an impressive array of sound stages, state-of-the-art post-production facilities and world-class support services amid an inspiring, historical setting. These successful businesses have afforded Rahim many opportunities to be recognized for his efforts by industry and civic leaders across the U.S. In 2011, Rahim was named one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 40 Executives under 40 and in 2012 Georgia State University honored him with the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award. Shep is responsible for leading East End’s West Coast operations and its production studio platform. In his role as Managing Partner, he sources value-add office and residential opportunities in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Seattle markets, as well as studio opportunities throughout North America and Europe. Before joining East End, Shep was a Senior Vice President at KBS where he oversaw and directed the origination, underwriting financing and closing activities for acquisitions and joint venture opportunities. Prior to KBS, he spent seven years as Managing Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Savanna, where he oversaw a team of asset managers and ran the daily operations for a 3 million square foot portfolio. In 1995, Shep co-founded Cosi, Inc. and developed the chain into a nationally recognized brand with over 100 restaurants in 11 states. His primary responsibility was overseeing real estate development and leasing for the business. After taking the brand public in 2002, Shep left the company to focus on development projects in New York City. He graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

Christine T. Dudley served as the Director of the Illinois Film Office from 2015-2018, overseeing a historic growth in revenue, jobs and programming. Her work cemented Illinois’ spot as the Midwest destination for film and television production During her tenure, nearly $2 billion was reported in film spending in Illinois. In 2018, Dudley oversaw a total of 332 television, film, digital and commercial advertising projects which generated more than $473 million in estimated spending, resulting in 13,848 job hires and nearly 4,000 individual businesses providing goods and services to the industry. Most remarkably, these numbers marked a 12% growth over the previous year. Christine worked with the Illinois General Assembly and industry stakeholders to secure the passage of legislation extending the film tax credit through 2026. In addition, Dudley and her team assisted in the negotiations for legislation requiring financial protections for child performers, commonly referred to as the “Coogan’s Law”. Beyond those immediate achievements, Dudley is proud of the expanded line of programming that will lead to continued, future growth in Illinois. Under her watch the state secured over a dozen original content episodic television programs; streaming services and cable networks such as Comedy Central, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon Studios and HBO established or expanded their production footprint in Illinois; including the fourth season of FX’s Fargo. Christine currently serves on the Board of the Illinois Governor’s Mansion Association, Elevated Films, The Midwest Film Festival Advisory Board, and the Indiana University Chicago Advancement Advisory Council. Previous board service includes the Illinois Arts Council; The Shattered Globe Theatre; The Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series, DePaul University Government Assistance Program (GAP); and Chicago Women in Government Relations.    In recognition of her dedication to preparing women for government and public policy positions, Christine received the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series National Coalition “Iron Jawed Angel Award” and was recognized amongst Princeton Illinois’ (women’s shelter) Freedom House Gallery of Hero and Heroines.  A native Hoosier, she attended Indiana University. Alex Lacher is Director - Investments at Domain Capital Advisors LLC, a SEC-registered investment adviser and a subsidiary of Domain Capital Group. In his time with Domain, Mr. Lacher has been responsible for over $5 billion in new investments and recapitalizations, while also managing over $3 billion of assets on behalf of the firm's clients. He joined Domain as an Associate in 2014, rising to Vice President in 2017, and Director in 2019. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lacher has been actively involved in over $6 billion worth of investments across asset classes and investment structures, including development and acquisitions of multifamily, office, mixed-use, agriculture, film studios, preferred equity, securitized debt, and fund of funds. Mr. Lacher began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in 2009 where he analyzed banks’ collateral valuations and their impairment following the GFC. The following year, Mr. Lacher joined CBRE as a Financial and Research Analyst. Immediately prior to Domain, Mr. Lacher was a Senior Associate at CohnReznick Capital, where he was involved in over $1 billion worth of investment banking and consulting engagements within the commercial real estate sector including equity placements for single asset and portfolio transactions, funds, and REOCs. Mr. Lacher earned his Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and an Investment Management Certificate from Harvard Business School.

Bob brings over 40 years of experience designing, planning, and managing highly visible and critically acclaimed architecture and places. Bob joined the practice as a principal in 2001 after over a decade of collaboration with the firm. In 2003, the firm changed its name to Rios Clementi Hale Studios in recognition of Bob’s leadership contributions. Over his distinguished and award-winning career, Bob has led creative collaborations for entertainment, retail, cultural, commercial, and residential clients. Before joining RIOS, Bob worked for Universal Studios as Creative Director and Vice President of Design and Planning and was a Principal at Frank O. Gehry Associates. Noteworthy projects such as The Exchange, Downtown Commons, Columbia Square, Nokia Plaza at LA Live, and the NBC Universal Evolution Plan highlight Bob’s talent for solving complex planning problems and creating beautiful places. Bob’s entertainment industry expertise spans projects with FOX, Paramount, Sony, NBC, 8th and Alameda Studios, Television City, and Echelon Studios. Bob received his Bachelor of Architecture from Tulane University and his Master of Architecture from UCLA. He is a past president of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He has taught at UCLA, USC, UNLV, and Tulane.

Carl Muhlstein International Director, is based in JLL’s Downtown Los Angeles office. Active in Los Angeles commercial real estate for more than 30 years, Carl’s background includes all forms of tenant, landlord, and investment related assignments with a special emphasis on the entertainment industry, creative office and development. Carl has served in senior positions with Cushman & Wakefield, Cushman Realty Corporation, Insignia/ESG Capital Advisors and Tishman Speyer Properties. A graduate of Cal State Northridge, Carl is a Los Angeles native. Local activities and memberships include board and advisory roles for five Mayoral administrations, ULI, and LACRA. He served as a public board member of the American Institute of Architects of Greater Los Angeles and chair of the BOMA Political Action Committee. He chaired the Citizen Oversight Committee for the Los Angeles Prop F Fire Facilities Bond advising on 18 fire stations, a regional training facility and an Air Ops facility to serve both the fire and police departments. He also volunteered for Public Counsel and Planned Parenthood to secure regional headquarters and as an adviser to AIA’s effort to develop a Center for Architecture in Los Angeles. Carl is a past recipient of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Caliber Award for Broker of the Year, a recipient of the JLL Broker Culture Award, and a CoStar Power Broker. Carl was JLL’s top producer in Southern California in 2014, 2018 and 2019 besides Top Ten since joining JLL. In 2016, Carl was named one of the 35 Power Players of CRE Tech by Capstak Commercial Real Estate Community. Carl is a frequent contributor on several panels including RICS, CoreNet, AIA, AIR, USC, ULI, LACRA, NAIOP, and the Appraisal Institute.
